Gwen Conliffe is a fictional character featured in the 1941 film The Wolf Man (played by Evelyn Ankers) and in the 2010 film The Wolfman (played by Emily Blunt).
In both films, Gwen is the love interest of Lawrence Talbot. After Talbot is attacked by a large creature thought to be a wolf at a Romani camp, he does his best to distance himself from Gwen to protect her. But she thinks he is delusional and doesn't believe him. After he turns into a wolf again and nearly attacks her, he is killed by his father Sir John Talbot, who didn't realize the werewolf was his son.
